The false problem plaguing today's leaders

Recently I interviewed a handful of CEO/Founders who are just past series A funding rounds.
Their greatest fear is failing!
This is particularly intense for these executives. They have just convinced financial backers and early employees to follow their vision.
Many said that life as they know it would be over.
Their biggest frustration is that as the staff gets bigger, they feel the speed in execution actually slows down.
The biggest challenge is how to scale and not lose the quality control and culture they had when they were small and numble.
They felt that if this obstacle didn't exist, they would have more time to evangelize and spend time creating the future of the company rather than dealing with all the interpersonal issues.
They think they have to find ways to push harder to make things go smoothly whereas the real problem is figuring out...
HOW you can create an organization that almost runs itself and allows for the leader to do the things he or she really enjoys.
