More and more we are encountering references to the Great Resignation, the idea that employees who are now forced back into the workplace, have decided to move to more location flexible employers.

Although on the surface they are accepting of their current organisation’s diktat, at another level they are checking out whilst employers are already defining those who leave as collateral damage, on the journey back to normality.

At Global Coaching Delivered® we reflect upon,

# The real cost of employees exiting and the resulting loss of information and understanding around the business and its practices.

# The sub-optimal contribution that will be made as the employee focuses on finding their next role as opposed to fulfilling their current.

# The organizational and motivational impact of exiting employees, rationalizing their move to coworkers by referencing the flexibility of other employers.

# The challenge of replacing employees, in a market where the best places to work will now categorically include location flexibility.

#Those who wish to press the reset button ignore the fact that the Pandemic has already done this for us!

Ambitious organizations that want to outperform their competitors know they can only do so through a fully engaged workforce, whilst true leaders recognise that we need to start from where we are, not from where we were.
